Policy of Screening for Plagiarism Process

The International Journal of Event Management Research is committed to publishing original and ethically conducted research.

All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism and unacceptable text overlap using Turnitin before peer review. Authors must submit a current Turnitin similarity report with their manuscript at the time of submission.

The similarity report will be assessed by the Editorial Office. A similarity score alone does not determine plagiarism; editors will review the source, context, extent and nature of any matching text.

Manuscripts may be returned for revision or rejected where they contain plagiarism, excessive unattributed overlap, duplicate publication, inappropriate reuse of previously published material, fabricated references or other breaches of publication ethics.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that all sources, quotations, tables, figures and previously published material are properly cited and that required permissions have been obtained.

Submission of a manuscript confirms that the work is original, has not been published elsewhere, and is not under consideration by another journal.
