Unless otherwise stated, authors retain copyright in their published work.

Upon acceptance, authors grant IJEMR a non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, distribute, archive and make the article available online as the version of record.

Published articles are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International Licence (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0), unless a different licence is stated on the article.

2. Reuse of Published Articles

Under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0, readers may access, download, copy and distribute the unaltered article for non-commercial purposes, provided that they:

• give appropriate credit to the author(s) and IJEMR;

• include the article title, publication year and DOI or URL where available;

• provide a link to the licence; and

• do not imply endorsement by the author(s) or IJEMR.

Users may not use the article commercially or distribute an adapted, translated, modified or derivative version without prior written permission.

3. Third-Party Material

Authors are responsible for obtaining written permission to reproduce any third-party material not covered by a legal exception or existing licence. This includes, where applicable:

• tables, figures, photographs and illustrations;

• maps, charts and diagrams;

• extensive quotations;

• survey instruments;

• datasets;

• copyrighted text, images, audio or video; and

• material owned by an employer, institution or other rights holder.

Authors must provide appropriate acknowledgements and licence information for all third-party material.

4. Permission Requests

Anyone who believes that content published by IJEMR infringes copyright or other intellectual-property rights may contact the Editorial Office with supporting information.

The journal will review valid concerns and may remove, correct, restrict access to or otherwise address material where appropriate.
